Its' reported that the state-owned mining company Aneka Tambang (Antam) announced said that it has started the operation of a bauxite processing plant in West Kalimantan.
Meanwhile, the bauxite processing plant is the largest one in Southeast Asia.
It's learned that the plant a joint venture built up by Antam and Showa Denko. Antam takes 80% shares.
In the initial stage, it's expected that the production capacity will reach 70% of the total.
Beside, Antam planned to commission the whole operations in the bauxite processing plant during next March and April and the annual production is expected to reach 300,000 tons.
